Deployment will allow Eniro to increase digital advertising sales and reduce operational costs
ST. LOUIS and STOCKHOLM, March 21, 2011 — Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems, and Eniro (OMX Stockholm Stock Exchange: ENRO) today announced that Eniro has deployed the Amdocs’ digital advertising system to enable the launch of its new, multi-national, Internet-based pay-per-click advertisement network in Scandinavia. Eniro is the largest directory and search company in the Nordics with a network of thousands of websites serving hundreds of thousands of small, medium and large advertisers. The announcement was made at BIA/Kelsey’s Interactive Local Media East 2011 event taking place today in Boston, Massachusetts.
Eniro has consolidated its advertising network operations in Sweden, Norway and Denmark on a common Amdocs platform to combine separate advertising networks into a truly Scandinavian, cross-country network for local advertisers. Amdocs is also managing Eniro’s day-to-day IT operations under a managed services engagement model to reduce Eniro’s operating costs.
“The deployment of the Amdocs digital advertising system is an essential part in our plan to grow faster in the Nordic pay-per-click ad market,” said Mathias Hedlund, Senior Vice President Group Products and Services at Eniro. “We will be able to offer advertisers a rapidly expanding distribution network and advanced advertising capabilities.”
With the new Amdocs system, Eniro will be able to offer advertisers the ability to target consumers across Scandinavia with sponsored advertisements which are relevant to specific search and website contexts. Eniro will also be able to offer advertisers a user-friendly interface for designing and publishing advertisements, either in a self-service model, or with help from Eniro editors. For example, advertisers can now login to their accounts via the Web and easily launch campaigns by phrasing a new advertisement and choosing its target regions, audiences and search keywords.
“Eniro can now offer advertisers better performance advertising options and a simple, compelling customer experience,” said Brian Shepherd, group president and head of Global Marketing at Amdocs. “By replacing several systems with a single Amdocs system supported in a managed services model, Eniro will also be able to offer business process best practices, further improving the advertiser experience and reducing operational costs.”
