Amdocs Named BSS Vendor of the Year in Asia Pacific by Frost & Sullivan for Second Consecutive Year

Award recognizes outstanding business performance spanning revenue growth, portfolio diversity and product innovation

ST. LOUIS (June 21, 2011) – Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems, today announced that top analyst firm Frost & Sullivan has selected Amdocs as Telecom BSS (business support systems) Vendor of the Year, as part of its 2011 Asia Pacific ICT (Information and Communications Technology) Awards.

The Telecom BSS Vendor of the Year award recognizes exceptional business performance in 2010, with key criteria being revenue growth, portfolio diversity and product innovation. It is determined by a panel of judges comprised of senior industry executives and Frost & Sullivan analysts.

“We are proud to grant Amdocs this award for its achievements in meeting the highly diverse needs of the Asia Pacific region, which spans multiple markets in different stages of maturity,” said Nitin Bhat, partner and senior vice president at Frost & Sullivan. “Amdocs’ global best practices and wide portfolio of BSS products and professional services are enabling local service providers to grow revenues by enhancing the customer experience they offer their subscribers, while reducing operational costs.”

“Service providers in Asia Pacific face heightened competition and rapidly growing subscriber counts. To capture market share, they are racing to expand into new geographic territories and differentiate with new 3G and 4G offerings,” said Brian Shepherd, Amdocs group president and head of Global Marketing. “We are seeing a growing adoption of Amdocs’ BSS offerings, especially converged prepaid and postpaid billing in a managed services framework. Projects are targeted to support large-scale operations in the region, as providers look to innovate and cost-efficiently monetize the massive rise in data consumption.”

Amdocs has been operating in Asia Pacific for more than 12 years and is hosting its annual customer and partner event – Amdocs Asia Pacific InTouch Business Forum – this week in Singapore. Amdocs BSS customers in the region include VTN in Vietnam, Globe Philippines, China Mobile and True Corporation.
