Avidian Technologies Announces Prophet Now Supports Outlook 2007

Prophet upgraded to support the latest version of Microsoft Outlook

BELLEVUE, Wash (August 27, 2007) – Avidian Technologies today announced that Prophet 4.0 has been upgraded to support Microsoft Outlook 2007. This upgrade will enable users of the newest version of Outlook to benefit from Prophet’s award-winning sales and contact management functions.

“We’ve continued to update Prophet to maximize ease of use, seamless integration, and to fully utilize Outlook’s best features,” said Tim Nguyen, CIO and co-founder of Avidian Technologies. “Now Outlook 2007 users can also take advantage of Prophet’s sales automation features while continuing to rely on the latest version of Outlook for their email, calendar items and contact information.”

Prophet’s patented technology now supports even more advanced contact management features. One new feature included in this upgrade of Prophet is that of automatically linking all Outlook contacts with the same company name into one company account. This is a key sales feature that Outlook 2007 users can now benefit from, without needing a separate stand-alone application.

Unlike traditional CRM or sales management software, Prophet is built into Outlook, eliminating the need to manage multiple contact databases or toggle between separate applications. Built on the .NET 2.0 platform, Prophet works entirely inside Outlook and easily integrates with other critical business capabilities. As a result, Prophet turns Outlook data into the building blocks of an effective sales management solution.

Prophet 4.0 can be purchased as Prophet Personal, Prophet Personal Pro, Prophet Professional Server, Prophet Enterprise Client and Prophet Enterprise Sever. Extensions of Prophet 4.0 include Prophet for Palm, Prophet for Windows Mobile and Prophet for Pocket PC. Prices for Prophet Personal Edition start at $99.95 per user and $199.95 per user for the Prophet Personal Pro Edition.
