Columbia Music Entertainment, Inc. (http://columbia.jp), the nearly100-year-old Japanese music company, recently went live on NetSuite Release J for managing its online business operations. NetSuite is the backbone for Columbia Music Entertainment’s newly launched “On-Demand CD” Web store (www.ondemandcd.jp), where visitors can make their own CDs directly from the site. “We’re very excited about how NetSuite supports our business from end-to-end, from enabling our new ‘on-demand CD’ website, a built-to-order service in which the customer creates their own CD, to the back-office processes of fulfilling those orders,” said Mr. Hiroshi Furukawa, General Manager of Japan Sales, Marketing & Administration, Columbia Music Entertainment, Inc. “With NetSuite’s business intelligence capabilities, we can now quickly figure out the ever-changing demands of our consumers. We also found NetSuite’s lower cost of ownership, compared to competing on-premise software, very attractive for a new business venture like ours.”
Premiere Global Services, Inc. (NYSE: PGI), the Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A.-based global provider of on-demand business process improvement solutions, in a continuation of its utilization of NetSuite CRM at its headquarters, has moved its Japanese operations (http://www.premiereglobal.co.jp) to NetSuite Global CRM. They are using NetSuite to handle their entire customer relationship management and sales force operations, moving away from weekly sales reports in spreadsheets in favor of NetSuite’s real-time, uniform information management system.
“NetSuite is allowing our customer support and sales associates to instantly see which solutions their customers are using,” said Mr. Masaru Yoshida, Operational Manager at Premiere Global Services Japan. “Now we are completely in sync with the rest of Premiere Global Services and are more effective and efficient as a worldwide, unified sales team.”
Sensirion (www.sensirion.co.jp), headquartered in Switzerland, is a sensor product company with a subsidiary in Japan. Sensirion is using NetSuite for the full ERP and CRM suite. NetSuite Professional Services helped the company implement NetSuite within two months, without IT staff, just after Sensirion’s Japan subsidiary was established. The company is using NetSuite’s multi-language feature — reports to headquarters are in English but print forms for external usage are issued in Japanese.
“Thanks to NetSuite we are able to have all our reporting done in Japanese and English, saving us countless hours and hassle we previously experienced with our disparate software systems,” said Sensirion . “We look forward to NetSuite’s one system unifying our company even more and helping Sensirion grow in 2009 and beyond.”
Sinsouki (www.sinsouki.jp), based in Niigata, is one of the largest car parking management vendors in Niigata, Japan. Its financial division and management are using NetSuite’s ERP / CRM integrated suite, including sales management, purchase management, basic accounting and management accounting. NetSuite Professional Services worked with Terry’s & Company, a third-party consulting firm, to customize NetSuite and get Sinsouki up and running in just three months. With no IT staff to speak of, Sinsouki’s management team was able to grasp the NetSuite solution and contribute to the successful implementation.
“We are very pleased to have one system to manage our entire business, and are particularly impressed with NetSuite’s dashboard feature,” said Mr. Masahiko Ujihira, a member of the Board of Directors at Sinsouki. “It enables us to analyze business information on demand, which previously was only available after our monthly closing process. Now we can see changes in our business in real-time.”
