Membership Supports the SugarCRM Community Development Platform of Choice

SugarCRM Inc. announced today that that is has joined the Eclipse Foundation Inc., the leading open source software development community, to support the continued development of Eclipse’s development platform. SugarCRM joins the Eclipse Foundation as an Add-In-Provider member of the Eclipse Foundation.
Eclipse is the leading open source Integrated Development Environment (IDE) supported by the Eclipse Foundation and open source communities worldwide. Eclipse offers a development platform for both has large-scale development projects and smaller open source initiatives. It supports version control system (VCS) repository access, automatic expansion of method name, visual diff, debugger with graphical user interface and plug-ins. The Eclipse IDE is the development platform of choice within the SugarCRM community.
SugarCRM’s decision to join the Eclipse Foundation is in recognition of the breadth and depth the Eclipse development environment offers to improve open source collaboration worldwide.
