One of my favorite aspects of SAP’s CRM application is its isolated tenancy strategy. Unlike most CRM systems that utilize multi-tenancy approaches, isolated tenancy can afford a hgiher level of availability, less cases of failure, and much more flexibility in deployment. SAP CRM also provides my company with a wide range of features in sales, marketing, service, e-commerce, interaction center operations and management and channel management. We were able to increase customer loyalty while maintaining a low budget, with SAP’s useful interaction center module. The flexibility provided by SAP CRM gives my business the critical tools needed to fully service our customers.

As a growing marketing company, we needed a CRM solution that provided keen insight into key business elements. Account and client management, sales management, opportunity management, quotes, pipeline and forecasting are integrated with SAP’s Sales On-Demand feature and securely backed on MS Office apps. The Marketing On-Demand feature handles all of our leads, customer segmentation, and marketing campaigns. Finally, SAP provides a third Service On-Demand feature that supports helpdesk, call escalation, analytics, service level monitoring, and much more. With these three essential features, i am able to fully capitalize on customer relationship management. SAP helped my company increase our demand and maintain clientele by allocating more time to customer service.

  3. Stay away from SAP CRM!

SAP CRM was a very disappointing investment for my company. Their On-Demand product line failed to provide an offline or wireless edition and several other essential tools that are provided by most SaaS/CRM vendors. Their tools and services are counter-intuitive–creating such an inconvenience to navigate through the New Contact page and creating new accounts. Security profiles can’t be applied to roles, only users. Instead of being hosted on an industry standard platform, SAP CRM is built on a less efficient NetWeaver platform. Due to the use of ActiveX controls, SAP only can support Internet Explorer browsers. I can’t even import and export data! The system has overall poor page performance, which requires me to frequently refresh every page. It was such a waste of time and resources. Stay away!
