That CRM Guy 07/06/2011 at 11:17 pm #I used Zoho a while back. Honestly, I was never too fond of this system. The thought of Zoho still brings chills down my spine… like an old teachers nails on a chalkboard. It was always so difficult to navigate through the CRM, customizing it was waaaayyyy too difficult, and it took way too many clicks to get anything done. The task management alone still haunts me. In order to complete a task, you had to open up the task, click on a drop down menu, and then select “completed”. A simpler way would’ve been to just put a checkbox for compelete next to the task on the main screen. You’re welcome Zoho you can have that idea for free.
On the other hand, Zoho is a really cost-effective CRM solution. Just to give you an idea of how cheap it is, you can buy an 8 piece bucket of KFC fried chicken with 2 sides and biscuits for the same cost as 1 professional user. And the system is a great starter CRM for users not quite ready to take the plunge on beefier solutions.
Zoho CRM- Just an Average CRM Software
Paul K. 07/05/2011 at 9:57 pm #My experience with Zoho CRM was okay- nothing to write home about, but not a terrible experience either. There are a couple good things about Zoho- it’s not too pricey and has a strong email marketing system that helps generate leads. However, I’m sure there are other CRM software options that can provide those benefits, and also are much more intuitive/simple to use. Zoho is not very efficient or simple to understand, and can be kind of overwhelming. All in all, I’d say using Zoho CRM was an okay experience, but I’m sure there are better options out there.
