Marketo’s Maria Pergolino Wins 2011 Stevie® Award For Women In Business

B2B Marketing Thought Leader Honored as Employee of the Year in 8th Annual Awards

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide. The awards are one of four Stevie Awards programs, which have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Pergolino has made significant contributions to the sales lead management and marketing automation space over the last 10 years. She has contributed dozens of blog posts to top-100 marketing blogs, such as MarketingProfs, and is co-author of Marketo’s popular blog, Modern B2B Marketing, which has more than 16,000 subscribers. Her posts and papers hold the highest number of retweets of Marketo’s marketing materials, and she has secured a Twitter following (@inboundmarketer) of more than 4,000 marketers.

Other notable accomplishments include co-authorship of three of the most successful social media, lead nurturing and lead scoring books created specifically for B2B marketers, entitled The Definitive Guides to B2B Marketing. Finalists in the competition were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. Members of six final judging committees selected Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists during final judging. More than 200 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process this year.
