Salesforce.com Kicks Off Worldwide Cloudforce Social Enterprise Tour March 15 in San Francisco

Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff to deliver keynote on the rise of the social enterprise
More than 17,000 people expected to register for Cloudforce San Francisco, the largest Cloudforce ever
New co-located Cloudstock event, with more than 3,000 developers expected to register, will showcase

SAN FRANCISCO, March 13, 2012 — Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM), the enterprise cloud computing company, today announced its global Cloudforce Social Enterprise Tour, which kicks off in San Francisco on March 15th. Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff will deliver the keynote on the rise of the social enterprise at Cloudforce San Francisco, the largest Cloudforce ever, at Moscone West. More than 17,000 people are expected to register to learn how their companies can join the social enterprise revolution through social, mobile and open cloud computing. 3,000 developers are expected to register for the co-located Cloudstock, the industry’s first social enterprise developer event, to get hands-on and code the next generation of social enterprise apps.

Cloudstock – Join Developers Coding the Social EnterpriseCloudstock is the industry’s first social enterprise developer event, featuring technical sessions, hands-on coding and best practices to build the next generation of social enterprise apps. Kicking off with the Cloudstock Developer General Session at 1:00 p.m. PT, developers will learn how to develop apps that are social, mobile and real time with the Salesforce Platform, which includes technologies such as Force.com, Heroku and Database.com. At the heart of the Cloudstock experience will be the Developer Zone where developers can start coding next-generation apps in real time. Cloudstock features code demos and consultations, mini-hacks, and experts from cloud service providers such as Amazon, Github, and Twilio.

Bringing Integrated Philanthropy to the Cloudforce ExperienceSalesforce.com integrates philanthropy into everything it does, including events.
